First Art Expo Ever In Outer Space—Conceived and Curated by Laurance Rassin

With the new millennium settling in comfortably and “pay per ride” rockets to the far reaches of outer space projected to be as common place as a getaway cruise, “The New Blue Riders” brings to Chelsea the sights, sounds and art works from the first ever expo into the far reaches of outer space.
Join “The New Blue Riders” as we peek into an art scene, the likes of which have never been witnessed before on this earth. Far, far past the reaches of Soho, West Chelsea, Tribeca and yes even the uptown auction houses and Basel, lies the greatest unknown. Witness with us actual artifacts from the first art expo ever held in outer space.
Futurism is the watchword for this, an “out of our universe art expo.” The exhibit will house exact replicas of the time capsules, rockets, lunar cars and laser guns built by “The New Blue Rider” science team for this exhibition. This coincides with the hundredth year anniversary of the first exhibition of the original Blue Riders in 1911.
Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider) was originally founded in Munich, Germany by a group of artists led by Wassily Kandinsky, Franz Marc, David Burliuk and other artists. The group was formed in response to the rejection of Kandinsky’s painting “Last Judgment” from an exhibition and lasted from 1911 to 1914.
Laurance Rassin, New York artist and fashion designer founded The New Blue Riders with Anton S. Kandinsky, David Noah Burliuk, and Sophie Matisse in 2009 and created a twenty first century art group whose purpose is to exhibit new forms of expressionism in a group setting. With artist autonomy and power in the group, Rassin, as the first artistic director of “The New Blue Riders” is excited to mount this space age exhibition in fall of 2009 as part of The New Blue Rider World Tour.
“We are all part of something bigger, or least we hope so, whether it be an international art group or the next great idea in conceptual art”, this is what drives Rassin to paint, sculpt, make fashion and create music with the stable of blue rider musicians.
The exhibit will showcase space age: oil paintings, bronze sculpture, photography, ceramics, tapestries, fashion, furniture and music; all viewed in a way out lunar setting.
To accommodate this expo three events with the artists will take place during this total eclipse of the art world in the Fall of 2009.

Anton S. Kandinsky, the great grandson of Wasilly Kandinsky, and founding member of the New Blue Riders is known for his “Gemism” paintings, works inspired by and decorated with gem stones. Kandinsky declared Gemism as a new independent movement in contemporary art. He founded Gemism in New York in 2004. In 2007-2008 Kandinsky showed paintings from his series “Meditation of Weapons” in New York, Chicago, Beijing and Kiev. Six new paintings by Kandinsky from his new series “Chinism” and “I don’t want to be a Russian artist” will be shown at the exhibition.
Laurance Rassin, founding member and artistic director of NBR’s, creates with his art a sumptuous and color filled world, enveloping his audience in signature large scale impasto oil paintings, bronze sculptures, ceramics, tapestries, and textiles in a way that is uniquely Rassin. Weaving an over-arching narrative with over 500 original works of art, Laurance infuses humor to his whimsical characters and interior scenes allowing his fictional almost cinematic stories to unfold. With Rassin’s work now featured regularly at Bonhams & Butterfields, 20th Century in Manhattan, he has shown auction house and pop appeal with his own line of fashions that have been showcased internationally.
David Noah Burliuk, founding member of “NBR’s” is a New York artist. He was born in 1983 in New York and studied architecture at SUNY Delhi where he earned his bachelors degree in 2009. Currently he works as an architectural designer for Lobas architects. As the great grandson of Russian Futurist David Davidovich Burliuk, David Noah Burliuk continues the family tradition of producing futuristic works of art in sculpture, watercolor, oil, and architecture. His oil paintings and ceramic pieces were featured in the 2008 Hampton’s Designer Showhouse, as well as other charitable events in the Hamptons.
Sophie Matisse was born in Boston in 1965. She is a granddaughter of Henri Matisse and founding member of NBR’s. Matisse studied art at Massachusetts College of Art, Boston and at École des Beaux-Arts, Paris. She started exhibiting in 1998 and has created a great following with her works among collectors and art connoisseurs. Sophie Matisse works exclusively with Francis M. Naumann Fine Art, a New York based gallery.

Всем привет!
Недавно перед мной встала задача, куда деть накопишиеся европоддоны, или еще их называют Паллеты,
Поддоны, Европаллеты Размеры 800*1200, 1000*1200- Это <u>Тара Пром назначения</u>.
Немного предистории.
Сам я работаю кладовщиком на складе. Нам приходит много продукции на Европоддонах,
товар продаем а поддоны остаются, у нас возник вопрос куда их девать.
Раньше мы их сжигали.
Потом мне подсказали, что за поддоны можно получить деньги.
Начал обзванивать фирмы везде были цены дешевые,
потом друзья мне подсказали, что в Челябинске есть такая Фирма “Уралсклад”,
около 10 лет на Рынке Промышленной Тары с прекрасной репутацией.
Я нашел их сайт в интернет - <a >www.uralsklad.ru</a> и позвонил по тел. +7(351) 233-07-14.
Буквально через час подъехал их представитель, Авто с Логотипом “<a >Поддоны Челябинск</a>”.
Цены закупочные оказались самые высокие в г. Челябинске.
Все цивилизовано грузчики загрузили Паллеты ешё и лом поддонов купили, расчитались на месте наличными.
Про другие фирмы я узнавал либо Цены низкие, либо Бракуют много, да и денег от них не дождешься.
Так что если у вас завалялись европоддоны, не торопитесь их выбрасывать, лучше обменяйте их на деньги.

The NASDAQ Closing Bell Ceremony

On Friday, July 17th 2009, I accompanied my fellow Blue Riders to Times Sqaure for the NASDAQ closing bell ceremony at 4:00pm sharp. This was an exciting event as it is the first time in history that an artist group has been invited to preside over a NASDAQ closing ceremony. I shot behind the scenes video as we rushed through cross town traffic to barely make it in time for the event. Anton Kandinsly, unfortunately succumbed to the traffic and was not as lucky as us and missed the event completely. The video is priceless and I think it really captures the excitement and occasional comedy of the event. Check back on this website for posted clips in the next couple of weeks.
Although we were told we should not play, we had brought a guitar and a New Blue Rider that plays saxaphone was on hand representing the musical aspect of our multidisciplinary 21st Century art movement. Erica Lawerence was kind enough to show up on little more than two hours notice and model a dress from Laurance’s signature fashion collection. Tracy Memoli, who masterminded this once in a lifetime opportunity, joined the Blue Riders at the bell along with some of her colleagues who helped make this all possible. And of course, David Rong of ArtNext Gallery brought the original New Blue Riders horse painted by Rassin that has become our logo. The final photo finish that was shown on the gigantic NASDAQ screen above times square clearly illustrated the diversity in talent, profession, nationality, ethnicity and background that characterizes the potential power and reach that this group is beginning to realize.

During the first scene, where the guys in the middle banged their drums and ladies covered in bells made a path for the cool cyclists on the circular bicycles. I loved that song and would truly appreciate some info on where to get it. (It was peppy, festival-like, and sung in Chinese).

History of Blue Rider

The orignal blue rider group called
Der Blaue Reiter was a prewar (WW-I) group of artists that was founded by Vasily Kandinsky, Franz Marc, Gabriele Munter, Pablo Picasso, David Burliuk and other expressionism artists of the era. The goal was to exhibit together their avant garde work.

The first responder has given you a concise answer that is exact. I will elaborate just a little. As already stated the total NASDAQ consists of over 3200 companies that are traded. The NASDAQ 100 represents only a small portion of the total, but that small portion probably represents 80% of the volume traded on the NASDAQ. I am just guessing. And of course it is tech heavy with MSFT, INTC, AAPL, CSCO, DELL, ORCL, and GOOG making up most of the trading volume and most of the market cap also.Dallas tuxedo stores

I was sapost to do a report on John Carroll -Ireland and i am confused about the directions…... So does anyone know if he ‘aided the Colonies during the American Revolution. ’ or anything about him? Or is there a John Carroll that helped the Colonies.. that wasn’t the Bishop?? HELP PLEASE!!!!!
